First Couple of Weeks of Homeschooling

My dear sister suggested that I create a homeschooling blog so here it is sweet Rachel! :)

I hope to share (for those who are interested) what we are doing at Robbins Academy for Him. (Bear with me as I'm a little new to the placement of pictures and text etc. ;))

This will be our fourth week of homeschooling. All of us are really enjoying it so far. It has been such a blessing.

Here are a few pictures from our first few weeks.

Our first day of homeschooling. We were all so excited! :)

Our class rules we made together (being a little silly and having fun)

Our trip to Allied Waste facility with Grandma Judy, Grandpa Howard and Aunt Megan

Art and Music Lesson about Nathan and Rachel's "names" with Gram Cindy (Grandpa Howard came and checked in to see what all the laughing was about ... :))

Technology Lesson with Daddy (He took apart our computer and Nathan and Rachel learned about the hardware and then plugged it back together again)

Fun Bike Ride on a Thursday afternoon. (Made possible by Daddy working from home and the kids being homeschooled)

Olivia Johnston (our wonderful CT -- Credentialed Teacher). We meet and share our work with her every month.

Our first Science class. Mommy is teaching Nathan and Rachel and their good friends Blake and Isabel. We are "Science Detectives", Exploring, Investigating and Studying God's Creation.

The past few weeks have gone by so fast! It's been busy, but so rewarding! I love being Nathan and Rachel's mom and teacher! Thank you to all of you for your love, support and encouragement! :)

  3. Thank you both! :) Yes, it is a blessing having my hubby teach technology (and being able to go on bike rides with us occasionally).
